Thanks to Helen and her amazing massages, Jules has come leaps and bounds from the sore and crooked horse I bought! The massages really seem to make her happier and more relaxed during our rides, which has made me so grateful and our competitions even more successful!

Helen has done such a beautiful job with my young holsteiner that sustained an injury as a colt. Her massages make a huge difference in his performance, he moves better and jumps with amazing power after his massage. He absolutely loves Helen and her massage, she has a wealth of knowledge and is a wonderful professional to work with.

Bentley has been in my lesson program for 10 years and has been an amazing teacher for so many of my students in the jumper ring. About 2 years ago he began to show signs of being uncomfortable in his back end and then eventually started traveling with an exaggerated gait. After numerous vet visits and thousands of dollars later there was no diagnosis as to why he had become uncomfortable in his back end , so I retired him. Upon meeting Helen and talking to her about massage I decided to have her work on him in hopes that it would improve his quality of life and hopefully allow him to do some low level lesson again. I was absolutely amazed at the improvement he showed immediately after Helen began to massage him and how much his coat and weight improved. After several treatments it was clear that his discomfort and the odd gate and gone away. This is a picture of a VERY happy Bentley back in the show ring because of the massage treatments. He is doing great and I can not thank Helen enough for making him comfortable and happy again.

I have practiced Animal Chiropractic since 1992. Over the years, I have had the pleasure and honor of meeting and working side by side with highly gifted, trained and qualified equine massage therapists. In my honest opinion, Helen is in the top five I would safely recommend to work on your horse.
I met Helen years ago when she brought her Canine Agility performance dog, “Pudding” to be adjusted. Not only did she see, but she experienced firsthand what a natural approach to healing could do for her dog. We met again at SIRE, where Helen volunteered & then became an Instructor and the Equine Manager of the Fort Bend site. I learned she was an experienced horse rider and trainer. She shared with me that as she volunteered with these horses, she observed that the horses, in their efforts of helping the unbalanced riders build core strength and balance, they seemed to not only have chiropractic issues but soft tissue and muscular issues as well. I couldn’t agree more with her observations. It was then I had the opportunity to meet Helen: she is one of those people who sees a problem and/or a need and finds a reasonable and sensible solution. While I was adjusting horses at SIRE, she expressed an interest in becoming trained in equine massage therapy. I gave her some reputable schools. Next thing I knew, she’d enrolled, trained and graduated top of her class!
Since then, Helen and I have had the opportunity to collaborate on horses of all training: dressage, eventing, hunter jumpers, barrel racing and horses involved in other equine sports including just being old and loved horses. Helen is a true professional. She has an eye for which conditions she may be able to help and recognizes when certain conditions require attention beyond her scope of practice and refers. She is knowledgeable, professional, has excellent communication skills and truly is an innate gifted healer. I’m honored to write this recommendation and I am grateful she is a part of my network of healers to whom I am able to confidently refer my clients without hesitation.
